Our Mission

  • Committed to providing EXCELLENCE in dentistry
  • Continually pursuing the latest in continuing education, personal growth and team growth
  • Using leading-edge technology and equipment
  • Respecting our patients by doing our best to keep our schedule on-time
  • Giving all of our patients the best, gentle and thorough dental care available

Appointment Policy

We reserve time for each patient in our practice. We strive to show our patients respect by running our schedule on time. In turn, we ask for the same respect from our patients. In order to maintain that standard we have set for ourselves and our patients, we are not left with much room for tardiness. We hope you understand that there are circumstances that prevent us from always being on time, but we have to do what is best for all of our patients.

New Patient Scheduling

We are always welcoming new patients to our practice! If you are coming to our office for your first visit, it is your responsibility to arrange for all family members' previous dental records to be transferred to our office. If you have had X-rays taken at another office within the past 12 months, we will be unable to complete any treatment at your first appointment, due to insurance limitations. You may always choose to pay for new radiographs out-of-pocket. If you are coming in for a second opinion or hoping to have treatment completed on your first visit, you will need to schedule after you have confirmed that your records have been received by our office.

Cancellation/Re-Schedules

A minimum 24-hour working day notice is required for cancellations or reschedules. Please notify us as soon as possible since appointment hours are scheduled in advance. This allows us time to offer the appointment to another patient who may be waiting for that appointment time. Some offices charge patients for missed appointments. At this time, we chose not to do so. We do our best to remind patients of upcoming appointments. Our answering service calls the day prior, postcards are mailed out for recall appointments that are made in advance, and we can e-mail patients 3 days prior to their appointment. When a patient makes an appointment, it is their responsibility to remember, and our attempts to remind them are a courtesy.

Weather Policy

During the winter months when weather is a concern, be sure to call our office at 712-322-5318 to make sure the office is going to be open. We do our best to inform patients as soon as possible of any office closings due to weather, and we understand if you need to cancel your appointment due to weather conditions.

We Value Our Relationship With You!

We value our patients and want to maintain a good relationship with you! Please let us know if you have any questions about our policies. We look forward to many years of working with you to maintain your good dental health! Communication works best when it works both ways! All patients are urged to ask our staff any questions they may have.
